Play as isaac with the D6 as active item, had The Habit from the store and Placenta as drop from previous floor. Worked for me to find my missing godhead item which i didn't find after 45+ plays: In the angel room: don't take the item if you don't like/need it -> bomb the angel statue and fight the angel -> after the fight he will drop a key part -> now u have 2 angel room items that you can reroll in the hopes of getting the one you need. On the second floor in the devil room: don't sacrifise red hearts for a devil item (you can take items from the red chests) -> this will increase the chance for angel rooms on the next floors (but devil rooms can spawn again after the first angel room, just dont sacrifise red hearts again). If you want to 'farm' angel room items: play with isaac (or reroll) until you get goat head in a cursed room on the first floor -> 100% chance for devil rooms. You could try that on the first one you find each run.
There are a total of 23 items in the pool, so you'll have to do several runs before having a good chance of getting them, but running on someone like Azazel who has an easier time of not taking damage on a floor (and is basically guaranteed to not take red hearts of damage on the first few boss floors) would be a good idea.Įdit: I also don't know this for a fact, but it seems to me that whenever I Fight the Angels, the chance of an angel room spawning over a devil room is very high. The only items that are angel room specific spawns are Guardian Angel, Sacred Heart, Holy Grail, Dead Dove, Trinity Shield, and Godhead if I'm correct. If you do as many of those things as possible and take no devil room items, angel rooms will begin to spawn with relative frequency and it should be easier to get the items you need. Killing beggars increases the chance of a devil room spawning. The chance of a devil room spawning decreases on a floor after a devil room spawned on the previous floor. If you take no red hearts of damage during a boss fight, the chance of a devil room spawning increases, if you take NO damage during the entire floor, the chance greatly increases. Items like pentagram, book of belial, and book of revelations increase the chance of devil rooms spawning, while goat head guarantees it. The best Repentance items fundamentally change how a player gets through a run, like opening new explorable areas or granting an extremely powerful new ability.Any time you get a devil room, there is a chance that it will instead be an angel room assuming you have not accepted any deals with the devil (traded your hearts or soul hearts for items in the devil room).ĭevil rooms cannot spawn on the first floor. When it comes to Repentance new items, there are still combos that fans are figuring out months after the DLC was released. Items like Quints, which create hordes of followers, can be easily broken in The Binding of Isaac's alternate Greed Mode while being not so useful in a normal run. Updated Augby Erik Petrovich: Part of what makes The Binding of Isaac: Repentance so replayable is the completely unique items that the new DLC gives players. Edmund McMillen, the creator of the game, even said that the new meta's difficulty is meant to force fans to try new methods of completing runs. Also, the 'You feel blessed' effect represents a single coin flip, with a variable success chance (depending on the blessings you got from the Sacrifice Room). While some fans claim the new expansion is much more difficult than Afterbirth or Afterbirth+, there are many new items that either flat out break the game or combine well with just about anything. With base chance and Rosary Bead, you would have a 0.50.5 0.25 25 chance to fail the two coin flips, which means 25 chance to get a Devil Room, and 75 chance to get an Angel Room. It wraps up the story and adds hundreds of new items, trinkets, two new characters, and new paths for the player to take – and there are a lot of new Binding of Isaac Repentance items. The Binding Of Isaac: Repentance is the third and final expansion for the Binding of Isaac series.
